Dear R.A,
I am 13 years old. I have been a mets fan my whole life, but was never activley excited with the mets until this year. You made it all worth while. There is one more thing I would like to say. I watch the computer each day and cry. I will not want to be a mets fan anymore if you are not there to inforce it. I know 20m is not what you are looking for but mets fans believe in you. I also bought a baseball signed by you on December 1st for steiner sports. I have displayed im my room like an idol. I also have your baseball card in front of that. I congradulate you on the Cy Young. I also am telling you that the Blue Jays are not the right fit for you. Take what you can get. I need a role model and the only person that really deserves it is you.
Your a real life example of how baseball player should compete and carry themselves. You desrve the honor. Congratulations an best wishes I hope the Mets reward you with new contract and not a trade. Merry Christmas and continued success. Brian
R.A,
You are a hero in my eyes. A perfect example for future little Mets to look up to. I have been a Mets fan since the franchise started in 1962 and will go to heaven as such. I just want to congratulate you on your success. You deserve it with all the time you’ve put in. May your holidays with the Mets and family be awesome. I live 10 minutes from Traditions Field (Digital Domain), so hopefully I’ll see you in spring training. Hope you and Mets come to terms. Would hate to see a true hero leave us. In closing… I would love to experience another World Championship with you and the Mets before I go to the afterlife. 🙂 God Bless You

Well done RA.I will be over from the UK again next season so expect to see you at
Citi Field, playing for the Mets. Over here you would have been knighted for your
achievement so, arise Sir Dickey for a job well done.
